The Owlfred Chronicles

About Jennifer Johnson

Jennifer L. Johnson is an Atlanta, Ga. native currently enrolled at the University of Georgia in Athens, where she's studying journalism, creative writing and English literature. The 25 year-old was Phi Theta Kappa International Honors Society chapter president and Editor of the Georgia Perimeter College student newspaper for three years before transferring to UGA in 2009, and soon began writing for the Athens Banner-Herald. Jennifer has always been a voracious reader and never goes anywhere without a book, newspaper and sticky notes for correcting grammatical and punctuation errors written on bathroom walls. A former independent bookstore employee, she enjoys reading, writing and harshly evaluating the theatrical versions of books she once recommended to customers. In her rare downtime, Jennifer likes to spend time with her family, friends, her boyfriend and his cat.
